About this event | A famous tradition in a Japanese festival is "Omikoshi." In an "Omikoshi," numerous community members march around the city together while taking turns carrying big floats in which Japanese gods resides. Each city has their own "Omikoshi," and community members including adults and children participate in this tradition. In the Hachiman Shrine, there will be numerous food stands, and a lot of people ranging from children to adults enjoy this festival. |

About this event | ※This time, there will be a digital stamp rally using smartphones and a kids stamp rally. This event is a stamp rally that resembles the city of Mitaka as the solar system on a scale of 1/1.3 billion. Enjoy walking around shops and facilities in the city to collect various stamps. Depending on the number of stamps you have collected, you could earn a prize in relation to astronomical objects. This is a big stamp rally event in which over 3,000 people throughout the month participate. |

About this event | This festival celebrates the agricultural industry of MItaka City. The main attraction of this event is the "Treasure boat" made with agricultural products. These agricultrual products are distributed to attendees as a "Ofukuwake," which is a Japanese word meaning to share. Other than being able to purchase vegetables, flowers, and plants, there will be food stands. One of the highlights of this festival is the competitive exhibition of agricultural products, as there are numerous stunning agricultural products displayed. |
